A new series of walks in Pankow offers insight into the history of Berlin as a whole – you can book any of the following four walks individually:
Green Berlin: Walk from Pankow centre to Wilhelmsruh crossing the Schönholzer Heide, a wood that has seen many changes in its history
Rural Berlin: Two villages and fields that tell you about the history of Berlin’s canalisation. From Rosenthal to Blankenfelde (north Berlin).
Educational Berlin: Several schools and other educational facilities of the Pankow past will impress us on this walk in Pankow centre
Medical Berlin: The place Buch in the north of Berlin became a centre of clinics in the 19th century and on this walk we’ll see the impressive hospital buildings built there; walk will take place on 27 June
On 9 October a quiz walk on Polish history in Berlin took place. You can book this walk now as well.
The walk “Artists in Schöneberg” starts at Tauentzienstr. and ends at Kleistpark.
Duration: 2,5 h, € 9 per person, group discounts
This walk will take place at special times (see “Latest news” on the “Home” page) and if you order it.
Also, there will soon be a Berlin introduction walk.
On offer some nature walks in the north of Berlin, too. Please contact me, if you are interested in one.
