Born in Katowice, Poland, I grew up in North-Rhine Westphalia.

Having studied English and literary translation at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and in Swansea, Wales, UK, I worked for a Berlin-based translation agency from February 2009 to February 2014. Working as a freelance translator, tutor, tour guide, and artist I live most of the time in Berlin, but also in Hampshire, UK, sometimes.
